Sanjib Pal, geboren in Kolkata, erhielt seine erste Ausbildung an der Tabla im Alter von sieben Jahren bei Sunil Kammakan und Hridoy Biswas in der Tradition der Farukhabad-Gharana. 1988 wurde er Schüler von Pandit Shankar Ghosh, unter dessen Anleitung er sowohl Solo-Repertoire als auch Begleitung vertiefte. Als Begleiter und Solist etablierte sich Sanjib international und konzertierte seit 2001 in vielen Ländern Europas, im Nahen Osten und in den USA. Er trat u. a. bei der Dover Lane Music Conference, beim Bodensee-Musikfestival sowie bei Konzerten der Indischen Botschaft und All India Radio auf. Zahlreiche Auszeichnungen, darunter der National Youth Festival Award, markieren seinen erfolgreichen Werdegang.
Sanjib Pal, born in Kolkata, began his training on the tabla at the age of seven under Sunil Kammakan and Hridoy Biswas in the tradition of the Farukhabad Gharana. In 1988, he became a disciple of Pandit Shankar Ghosh, studying both solo performance and accompaniment. As both an accompanist and a soloist, Sanjib has established himself internationally, performing since 2001 in many European countries, the Middle East, and the United States. He has appeared at the Dover Lane Music Conference, the Bodensee Music Festival, as well as in concerts hosted by the Embassy of India and All India Radio. Numerous honors, including the National Youth Festival Award, highlight his distinguished career.
