Der Bassist Federico Salgado stammt aus Patagonien und lebt heute in Barcelona. Er studierte Kontrabass an der Nationalen Universität der Künste in Buenos Aires und nahm darüber hinaus Privatunterricht bei verschiedenen Lehrer:innen. Die stilistische Bandbreite Federico Salgado reicht von Tango, Jazz, Blues und Rock bis zu argentinischer Folklore. Zusammen mit Künstlern und Bands wie Bajofondo, den Swing Timers, Hypnofon, der Antigua Jazz Band oder Black Amaya hat er mehrere Länder in Amerika, Asien und Europa bereist und dort Konzerte gegeben.
Originally from Patagonia and now based in Barcelona, bassist Federico Salgado studied double bass at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires, complemented by private instruction with various renowned teachers. His musical range spans tango, jazz, blues, rock, and Argentine folk music. Salgado has toured extensively across the Americas, Asia, and Europe, performing with artists and ensembles such as Bajofondo, Swing Timers, Hypnofon, Antigua Jazz Band, and Black Amaya.
